About Sue’s Service Trip to Eswatini
I first heard about Heat for Africa several years ago when our friends Eric and Jen Peterson was serving in Swaziland as missionaries for two years. Just before their return home, a baby boy was found in a pit latrine. They made contact with Ian and Janine and they were able to take this little boy in and to raise him in the children’s home. Later I found out that Janine had written a book called “It’s Not Ok With Me”. It was really difficult for me to put down. God was saying “look at this story it’s important.” The second book Janine wrote “Is It Ok With You?” Further captured my heart. I prayed about what I needed to do and where I needed to be. God called me to this ministry not just to support financially but to go and work. I have been saving my money and my hope was to go last year but that fell through. Now I’m ready to go. Please pray with me that God will use my time wisely there. If you can’t afford the financial support I understand. I need prayer support more than anything else. If you private message me saying that I have your prayer support, I will keep you up-to-date on my trip.
